We take pride in our school community and expect all students to wear their uniform, both in school and where appropriate, when representing the school off site. Please see below the policy on uniform and expectations of what is and isn’t acceptable.
Jumper – Navy blue sweatshirt with school logo.
Trousers – Navy blue formal trousers.
Shorts - Optional navy blue formal school shorts. (IN SUMMER ONLY)
Skirt – Navy blue or black skirt which must be worn with black tights (or shorts in the summer).
Polo shirt – Navy blue polo shirt with school logo OR plain navy blue t-shirt with school logo. Pupils cannot wear their own t-shirts, sports tops or football shirts.
Shoes – Plain black shoes or trainers. Shoes should be sensible with a low heel (high-heeled shoes and Crocs should not be worn and pupils will not be allowed into school wearing these due to health and safety).
Hairstyle – Extremes of fashion in hairstyles and colours is not allowed – natural hair colours only.
Jewellery – Jewellery is permitted unless it represents a safety hazard in a busy school community and/or during a particular activity. Jewellery considered unsafe include large signet/studded/gemmed rings, long neck chains and large hoop earrings.
Uniform supplier
Polo shirts and jumpers with the school logo on can be purchased through the school office. All other plain uniform can be purchased from supermarkets or most clothing shops.
Expectations
Pupils will not be allowed into school wearing hoodies, tracksuit tops, ¼ zips or coats, even if these are under school uniform. These items, along with coats, will be stored securely for pupils.
Drinks and snacks will not be allowed into school, these will be held for pupils and returned at the end of the day. Pupils receive toast and juice between 9am-9.30am, are offered drinks throughout the day and have toast at break time at 11am.
Pupils are requested not to bring large amounts of money or valuables into school.
