New artwork has been installed throughout our school corridors at Deal Street and has been designed to create a calm, inspiring environment for our students, As an alternative provision school in Bury, we understand the importance of surroundings that support wellbeing, confidence and aspiration.
The artwork has been carefully developed using the school’s branding colours and features recognisable local landmarks, helping students feel a sense of connection and belonging. Interwoven within the designs are inspirational quotes from well-known figures chosen specifically so that our students can relate or look up to their stories and achievements.
Our core values of Belief, Courage and Honesty are embedded throughout the artwork, reinforcing positive messages as students move through the school each day. Together, these elements encourage reflection, resilience and a belief in personal potential.
We are delighted with the positive response from students and staff and see this as an important step in shaping an environment that motivates and uplifts. The next stage of the project will see a similar design installed at our new Whittaker Street Vocational Centre, extending this inspiring visual journey into our wider learning spaces.
